I love blogging and I’m really excited about starting a blog on wordpress. It seems really easy and user-friendly so far. Aaand I just got a Mac so I feel very Carrie Bradshaw right about now .

Anyway, about me – I am a midwestern girl going to school in … you guessed it, the midwest. I did spend last semester in a big city, which was a really good experience. I probably will want to live in a big city after I graduate, but who knows …

I spend a lot of my time obsessing over my future – what I want to do with my life, where I want to live, etc. It’s very unproductive and I’m working on being ok with the fact that I don’t have the type of personality that will ever be able to completely decide on something and stick with it. Oh indecision …

Anyway – I love just kicking back or partying it up. Having fun is great, but I also enjoy a thoughtful conversation with smart people.

I’m living at home this summer after a semester of living on my own, so that is quite a change. I wish my family was less involved so I wouldn’t feel guilty if I don’t go to their various events. Luckily, they are pretty laid-back and don’t freak out if I don’t come home until realllly late.

This summer I am going to be interning at a local country club doing marketing, special events, some sales. I start tomorrow and am kind of nervous. I don’t even know what time I’m supposed to come in, or what I should wear. First days are always really challenging – you don’t know anyone or what you’re supposed to be doing and just feel out of place. But hopefully it will be a good experience overall … we shall see. Other than that, I’m going to take advantage of the fact that I don’t have to work on weekends and take some mini-trips. I’m also going to France/Germany for two weeks, which I’m really excited about. Other than that, mostly hanging out with friends, the bf, and the fam … it should be good times.

Speaking of familial obligations (ok, I was earlier), I have to go to my brother’s band concert later. After getting 5+ hours of sleep because I woke up early this morning to hear my mom sing a solo at her church. I should be napping now, but as usual, I am much too distracted to sleep. I am such a good daughter/sister, haha.
